KwizEd PTA Affiliate Scheme
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 2 January 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) explain how the KwizEd PTA Affiliate Scheme (“Scheme”) works and form a legally binding agreement between KwizEd (“we”, “us”, “our”) and the participating Parent Teacher Association (“PTA”, “you”, “your”).
By submitting the registration form and accepting these Terms, you acknowledge and agree to how the Scheme operates. This does not create any obligation on your PTA to promote KwizEd, to generate referrals, or to take any specific action. Participation is entirely voluntary.
- How the Scheme Works
1.1 Each approved PTA is provided with a unique referral link (“PTA Link”).
1.2 Parents and account holders must sign up using the PTA Link for the referral to be tracked and credited correctly.
1.3 If a sign-up does not use the PTA Link, it cannot be attributed to your PTA and no donation will be payable.
- Parent Discount
2.1 Parents who sign up using a PTA Link receive a discounted subscription price.
2.2 Discount structures may change for future participants in the Scheme.
- Qualifying Subscriptions
3.1 Only paid annual subscriptions qualify for PTA donations.
3.2 Free trials, monthly plans, or non-paid subscriptions do not qualify.
3.3 Each paid annual subscription is treated as a separate qualifying referral, even if multiple subscriptions are held by the same individual or household.
- PTA Donation
4.1 KwizEd will make a £25 donation to your PTA for each qualifying paid annual subscription referred through your PTA Link.
4.2 Donations are earned per qualifying subscription, not per child.
4.3 If a referred account renews for a further annual term, and the renewal qualifies under these Terms, a further £25 donation will be payable.
- Validation Period
5.1 All donations are subject to a 30-day validation period starting from the date the referred subscription first becomes chargeable.
5.2 This validation period allows time for disputes, reversals, chargebacks, or suspected misuse of the Scheme to be identified and resolved.
5.3 A donation becomes earned only once the validation period has passed and the subscription remains active at that time.
- Payment of Donations
6.1 Donation payment methods and schedules will be communicated separately.
6.2 KwizEd may delay payments where necessary for verification, fraud prevention, or compliance purposes.
- Changes to the Scheme
7.1 KwizEd may update, modify, or discontinue the Scheme at any time.
7.2 Any changes will not affect donations that have already been earned and validated.
7.3 Changes to donation amounts or discount structures will apply only to future PTAs unless both parties expressly agree otherwise.
7.4 Where reasonably possible, we will provide advance notice of material changes.
- Ending the Scheme
8.1 KwizEd may end the Scheme at any time.
8.2 If the Scheme is ended:
-
- Any donations already earned and validated will still be honoured;
- No new referrals made after the end date will qualify.
- Authority & Acceptance
By accepting these Terms, you confirm that:
9.1 You are aged 18 or over.
9.2 You have the authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of the named PTA or school.
9.3 These Terms form a legally binding agreement between your PTA and KwizEd.
9.4 The agreement takes effect at the date and time of submission, as recorded by our systems.
- Data Protection & Privacy
10.1 We collect and process the personal data provided in the registration form solely to administer the Scheme and facilitate payments.
10.2 All personal data is handled in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
10.3 We do not sell or share your data for marketing purposes.
10.4 Data may be shared only with essential service providers (such as payment processors).
10.5 We retain data only as long as required for Scheme administration and legal or tax compliance.
- Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
