Can I cancel?
A: Yes. You can cancel your monthly membership at any time from your account page after logging into your account. Your membership will end the day before your next payment is due and no further payments will be taken after that unless you renew. You can cancel your annual membership at any time, but because your annual membership is heavily discounted, we are unable to offer you a full or partial refund but after you cancel you can continue to use your membership until it expires.
How many of my children can use KwizEd?
A: You can choose a monthly membership for one child or a monthly membership for 2 children. Yearly membership gives you the option to register two children. Each child has their own account and login. The ‘Add A Student’ box or boxes will unlock after you add a valid payment card. Your parent-account username and password must not be the same as your children’s username and password. Do not disclose your parent-account username or password to children.
What devices can I use for KwizEd?

A: You can use a laptop computer, desktop computer, tablet or smartphone. For the best experience, we recommend a tablet or computer. You will need an internet connection. Your device needs to run an up-to-date browser such as Chrome, Edge, Safari etc.
Do the quizzes use sound?

A: For most quizzes, sound is recommended but you will still be able to use KwizEd without sound. You will need sound for spelling tests, as the questions are spoken. You may prefer to use a headset if sound is likely to disturb others.
How do I change my account password?

A: Go to the Account Sign-in page and click “Forgotten password”. You will be taken to a Reset Password form. Enter your email address and you will receive and email with a link to reset your password.
Can quizzes be taken in any order?

A: Yes. Children can pick and choose quizzes to do in any order. This encourages exploring different topics and strengthening the skills they need most. Quizzes can be repeated as many times as the want (but they can only earn a maximum of 5 Gold Coins for any quiz, no matter how many times they take it).

When will I be charged?
A: We offer a 7-day free trial for new users. If you cancel during your trial period you won’t pay anything and you can continue to use KwizEd for the remainder of your free trial. If you don’t cancel, then payment for a monthly membership will be taken each month until you cancel. ‘Month’ means calendar month; for example, from 7th February to 6th March. If you have chosen an annual membership then you will be charged the annual membership fee at the end of your free trial.
What about school year-groups for each child?

A: When you complete an ‘Add A Student’ in your account dashboard, you choose which school year-group you want them to use (Year 3, 4, 5 or 6). Usually you will choose their current school year-group but you don’t have to.
What about games?

A: We have lots of skill-based KwizEd games designed to encourage and reinforce learning in Spelling, Maths and English. To play a game, children have to earn Gold Coins by completing quizzes. Each quiz can earn a maximum of 5 Gold Coins, which are added to their Treasure Chest. Their Gold Coins can then be spent on any game they select as long as they have enough Gold Coins to pay. This serves as an incentive to complete the quizzes.
Can I change the school year group?

A: Yes. You can change the Year Group (for example, at the start of a new school year) by clicking the button on student Report Card in your account dashboard. You can do this once during a 12-month period. If you make a mistake, don’t worry. Contact us and we will sort it out.
What if my child has forgotten their password or username?

A: Log in to your account, go to the student’s Report Card. Click on the button to reset their password (bottom left). Their username (the name they use to login) is shown in the top left of the Report Card, just below their name.
